What we found
Paraben preservative; endocrine disruption has been studied by CIR and EU SCCS, both of which concluded methylparaben is safe at standard use levels (up to 0.4%, or 0.8% combined with other parabens). Unlike propylparaben/butylparaben, it is not subject to any special EU restriction.
